What it does today. What's next.

Everything under “Built” works today, except the last group, which is still being tested. Everything under “Left to build” doesn't exist yet, and it says so. I'd rather you read this list today than find a gap in week two.

Built[INC.1]

Built today

One job: get a quote out the same day the lead comes in.

Open any part to see exactly what's in it.

  • Type an address and get the roof area and the pitch, from aerial LiDAR.
  • Nobody gets on a ladder to measure.
  • Every quantity shows the arithmetic behind it, waste factor included.
  • When it can't measure, it names one of sixteen reasons and shows the next step.
  • The manual form is always there, so the quote never blocks.
  • Your materials, costs, labour rates and waste factor.
  • Set the margin you want to hold and the price works backwards from it.
  • Steep-slope and flat templates, picked from the job type.
  • A price you haven't touched in a while gets flagged. Confirm it with one click.
  • A PDF with your company, your branding and your RBQ licence number.
  • GST and QST on two lines, never rolled into one total.
  • The tax follows the property, not your office. Thirteen jurisdictions.
  • French or English from the same quote, in one document.
  • Scope of work, notes and an expiry date, printed on it.
  • It won't send a price nobody checked, and names every missing item at once.
  • It won't send without your legal name, address, tax numbers and licence.
  • Revise a sent quote and the one the customer got stays, dated.
  • Delivered, bounced or marked as spam, shown on the job, with a resend button.
  • A pipeline of ten statuses, with full history and lost reasons.
  • Status changes, notes, photos and ticked tasks on one timeline.
  • Photos by roof section, before, during and after, into one PDF.
  • Import your customer list from a spreadsheet and check it before it's saved.
  • A flat-roof price book: TPO, polyiso, cover board, drains, curb flashing, parapet metal.
  • Bid deadline, contract value and site contact on the job.
  • Drawings, specs and site photos attached to the bid.
  • You enter the takeoff yourself. Automatic measuring is built for pitched roofs.
  • Invite your office staff and set what each of them can see.
  • Four roles. A worker never sees your pricing or margins.
  • Two-factor sign-in with backup codes.
  • Your price book is yours. Nobody else on the platform can see it.
  • Change orders that amend a sent quote. Only an approved one changes the total.
  • Material takeoff to a supplier order sheet.
  • Disposal bin size from squares and layers.
  • Actual costs per line, with suggested price-book corrections.
  • A callback tracker by job, crew and material.
  • A warranty registration sheet per manufacturer.
  • A reminder before your licence expires.
  • Quote follow-ups and review requests by email. Built, not switched on yet.
Left to build[INC.2]

Not built yet.

  • Native iOS appComing soon

The same tool, built for the phone in your truck. The web app comes first.

  • Invoicing and paymentsNot built

Quoting works today. Getting paid through Closlyo doesn't.

  • E-signaturesNot built

The customer can't sign the quote inside Closlyo yet.

  • Text messagesNot built

Email only for now. Texting waits until consent is handled properly.

  • Quote-open trackingNot built

You'll see that a quote was delivered, not that it was opened.

  • Offline photosNot built

Photo capture needs a connection for now.

No dates on any of this. When something ships, it moves up the page.
