02What we collect

When you join the waitlist, we collect:

• Company name
• Email address
• Phone number, if you choose to provide it
• Number of branches, if you choose to provide it
• The date and time you gave consent to receive updates

We don't ask for payment information, and we don't collect personal information beyond what's needed to run the waitlist and send you updates.

03Why we collect it

We collect this information because you've asked to join our early access waitlist. Canadian privacy law requires your consent before we can send you updates, and you give that consent by checking the consent box on the waitlist form. You can withdraw that consent at any time — see "Your rights" below.

04How we use it

We use your information to:

• Send you a weekly update on what we're building
• Invite you to test the beta before general availability
• Ask for feedback that shapes what we build next
• Follow up if you've written to our contact email

We don't use your information for advertising, and we don't build a profile of you beyond what's needed to run the waitlist.

05Cookies

This site sets one functional cookie (NEXT_LOCALE) to remember whether you prefer the English or French version of the site. We don't use advertising or analytics cookies, and we don't track you across other websites.

06Sharing your information

We don't sell your personal information, and we don't share it with third parties for their own marketing. We share it only with service providers who help us run this waitlist — for example, hosting and email delivery providers — and only to the extent they need it to provide that service. These providers are bound by written agreements requiring them to keep your information confidential and secure, and to use it only for the purpose we've engaged them for.

07Where your information is stored

We haven't finalized a hosting provider for this site yet. Once we do, we'll name them here, along with where your information is physically stored — and, if that's outside Québec, how we assess whether it receives protection equivalent to what it receives under Québec law before we transfer it there. In the meantime, we take reasonable technical and organizational steps to keep your information secure wherever it's stored.

08How long we keep it

We keep your waitlist information until you unsubscribe, ask us to delete it, or until early access wraps up and the information is no longer needed for its original purpose — whichever comes first.

09Your rights

You can:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you
• Correct information that's inaccurate
• Ask us to delete your information
• Ask us to transfer your information to you, or to a third party you designate, in a structured, commonly used format
• Withdraw your consent to receive updates, at any time, with no effect on any past processing

Every update we send includes a one-click unsubscribe. To exercise any other right, email us at vyoms@closlyo.com and we'll respond within a reasonable time.

If you're not satisfied with our response, you can file a complaint with:

10If something goes wrong

If a security incident creates a real risk of serious harm to you, we'll notify you and report it to the Commission d'accès à l'information, as required by law.

11Children's privacy

This site isn't directed at children, and we don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18.

12Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the product and our data practices evolve. We'll update the "last updated" date above when we do. If a change is significant, we'll let you know by email.
